STAGE 1
INITIAL DESIGN CONSULTATION
Understanding the aesthetic requirements, quality, timescale and budget is the first critical step to achieving great results. Based on the initial consultation we formulate a scope of works that outlines the services required and creates a fee proposal for our clients approval.
STAGE 2
ANALYSIS
Once appointed, with the project scope having been agreed upon, we commence to work with our clients to clarify the aims and objectives of the project . Using our experience and knowledge, we help navigate our clients through the complex process of blending aesthetics and functionality within a budget.
STAGE 3
CONCEPT AND DEVELOPMENT
Based on the information assimilated in Stage 2, the team prepares a series of design presentations that are developed, specified and costed for discussion with our clients. These presentation packages include plans and elevations which develop the spatial, structural and architectural and lighting layouts in conjunction with joinery details and samples of materials, wall coverings, paint colours and soft furnishings and bespoke finishes.
Full working drawings showing creative and technical detail are prepared for the appointed consultants and trades. Accompanied visit to showrooms, suppliers and other projects are carried out where needed.
STAGE 4
PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND PROCUREMENT
Subject to the extent of the project management role previously agreed, progress of the project is monitored and managed on site and any issues arising in the course of the project are resolved in order to maintain quality, budget and programme.
The team takes responsibility for procurement including liaison with UK-based and international suppliers. Using the trade accounts and relationships we have secured over numerous years of trading, we are able to offer our clients full trade discounts that are subject to an agreed handling fee. Orders and deliveries are programmed so that they arrive at the required time.
Throughout this stage our clients are kept informed of progress.
